Overview
The PI Spread/Depth is a “dual” sensor, and it performs the following tasks:
Note that the PI Remote sensor may be replaced with a Simrad PI Remote/Depth sensor. This will provide you with the depth of both trawl doors.
- It communicates with the PI Remote sensor to measure the distance between the trawl doors, and transmits the current distance to the PI operator unit.
- It measures the current depth and transmits this information to the PI operator unit.
Note that the PI Remote sensor may be replaced with a Simrad PI Remote/Depth sensor. This will provide you with the depth of both trawl doors.Specification
